melts.la is a technology platform operated by [MELTS Entity Name, LLC]. We provide the website, intake assessment tools, scheduling, payment processing, and customer support. We do not practice medicine, prescribe medications, or operate a pharmacy.
Medical consultations, diagnoses, and prescriptions are provided by independently licensed healthcare providers affiliated with [Clinical Provider Entity Name, P.C.], a physician-owned professional corporation. All clinical decisions are made solely by licensed clinicians exercising independent medical judgment, in compliance with California Business & Professions Code §2400 (Corporate Practice of Medicine doctrine).
Prescription medications are compounded by a California-licensed 503A compounding pharmacy. The pharmacy operates independently under its own state pharmacy license and is responsible for formulation quality, sterility, and regulatory compliance.
This three-entity structure ensures that medical decisions remain with licensed clinicians, pharmacy operations remain with licensed pharmacists, and the platform provides technology and administrative support only.
If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room immediately. melts.la is not an emergency medical service. Our platform is designed for non-urgent telehealth consultations and does not provide real-time emergency medical care.
By using our services, you acknowledge and consent to receiving healthcare services via telehealth, in accordance with California Business & Professions Code §2290.5. Specifically, you understand that:

melts.la offers monthly subscription plans. Your subscription includes: clinical consultation, custom-compounded medication, and delivery. Pricing varies by formulation tier and is displayed during the checkout process.
Your subscription renews automatically each month. You authorize us to charge your payment method on file at the beginning of each billing cycle. We will notify you in advance of any price changes.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account portal or by contacting support at hello@melts.la. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle. No refunds are issued for partial months.
Because medications are compounded specifically for you, refunds are generally not available for shipped orders. If you received a damaged or incorrect product, contact us within 48 hours for a replacement or credit.

Before filing any formal dispute, you agree to contact us at legal@melts.la and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.
Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the platform shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by [Arbitration Provider] under its Commercial Arbitration Rules, rather than in court. Arbitration shall take place in Los Angeles County, California.
You agree that any arbitration or proceeding shall be conducted on an individual basis only, and not as a class, consolidated, or representative action. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.
You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by sending a signed written notice to [MELTS Address] within 30 days of first accepting these Terms. Your notice must include your name, address, email, and a clear statement that you wish to opt out.
Either party may bring an individual action in small claims court if the claim qualifies.

All content on melts.la — including text, graphics, logos, formulation names, the "Cynthia" AI persona, intake interfaces, and software — is owned by or licensed to melts.la and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written consent.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a prominent notice on the platform at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the platform after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. For any matters not subject to arbitration, the exclusive jurisdiction shall be the state and federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
